Hard Top Quilts are quilt patterned lazy susans, trivets and custom accessories. They are hand-made from solid surface counter-top materials such as Corian and Avonite. They come in a wide array of colors, and may be ordered in colors to compliment your decor.

These premium materials offer a unique opportunity for artistic creations combining traditional quilt design and woodworking skills. Many of the materials used are recycled from the counter-top manufacturing process. While solid surface looks like stone, it can be machined with woodworking tools and techniques.

Lazy susans and trivets are useful, decorative items for your home. They are heat resistant and washable. Minor scuffs can be rubbed out with fine steel wool, and buffing with paste wax keeps the shine. Trivets are dishwasher safe. Combining solid surface with handmade solid wood furniture is another opportunity for artistic design.

How are the lazy susans made? They are assembled in order much like a fabric quilt, sanded and polished.
